Pomegranates grow well in Greece, and the jewel-like seeds were available with our breakfast choices. The collaged leaves and fruits in this mixed media piece were cut from an agricultural newspaper that I brought back with me. I thought I would find newspapers on every corner in Greece, but, like everywhere else, the Greeks now get their news online. I had to ask a driver to take me to the ONE bookstore on Naxos that he thought might carry them.
